Word Swapping!

🥳

Sample ListEmotional Vocabulary

Here is a short sample list featuring more specific, refined, sophisticated word choices that more accurately point to what we often mean. Again, we recommend choosing 10 words for your core word bank (read more here). This is a short list meant to inspire you and get you thinking! We are in the midst of compiling two extensive lists of words swaps: one with general vocabulary, the other with emotional vocabulary. Enter your email to receive them when they soon becomes available.

NOTE: This list is geared towards emotional intelligence. These are not lists of synonyms, rather they are lists of more specific possible feelings a child might be experiencing that, when used, might help them better understand themselves and achieve our overall goal of sharp, refined, engaged perception.
